Year 2000 Compliance - NTT
Northern Technology & Testing has undertaken the process of
identifying risks posed to our Company by the arrival of the Year
2000 ("Y2K") and its impact on electronic software. We are
proceeding under a Y2K Compliance Plan to investigate the issues
arising from the need to incorporate four-digit date capabilities into
all related software.
NTT's DOS applications are designed for use in and beyond
the year 2000. These applications store dates in the form mm/dd/yyyy,
where January 1, 2000 would be represented by 01/01/2000.
NTT's DOS applications where calculations are performed on this
date field will function correctly after December 31, 1999.
Applications where the date field is not used in calculations may be
used through the year 2000 and beyond, though the date will appear in
the application and on printed reports in the mm/dd/yy format.
Operationally, our Y2K Compliance Plan dictates that we will be Y2K
compliant internally no later than July 31, 1999. NTT is committed
to taking all necessary steps to ensure that we are operationally
compliant with regard to Y2K issues.
Our Y2K Compliance Plan also includes obtaining assurances that our
vendors and suppliers will be Y2K compliant so that there will not be
any interruption in the flow of materials, supplies and services.

please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Don Castillo
